THE "REAL" WAIT

WHAT IT MEANS TO WAIT ON GOD

In the culture we live in; we don't like to wait. Let me be honest with you right here. This is how much I don't like waiting: I purposely schedule to be 5 minutes late to every meeting with a friend, just to make sure I won't have to wait for them. This is ridiculous but it's actually true. I don't know anyone who likes to wait for people. 

THE PRISON AND THE PALACE

Right now I feel like everything is working against me. Whatever I plan to do just doesn't seem to work out. Even though I feel like the decisions I am making are all the right decisions. Decisions that would please God, benefit His Kingdom and ultimately bring me closer to His calling and His promise...but they're not.

When God calls you...

"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations." O Sovereign Lord," I said, " I can't speak for you! I'm too young! The Lord replied, " Don't say, I'm too young, for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don't be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I , the Lord have spoken!" Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said," Look, I have put my words in your mouth!"
