ANOINTED AND NOT ANNOUNCED

Overlooked, unseen, unappreciated, unwanted, forgotten, underrated. I know I have felt this way a lot in the past. And I know this is something a lot of us struggle with especially in the Body of Christ. There is just something lingering on the inside of you that wants to get out. But you might feel like nobody sees you or like there is no opportunity to really walk in your purpose.

I just want to encourage someone today.

No matter if people see what God has placed on the inside of you; no matter if they understand your calling or not what they can't take from you is your anointing. Can we talk about the anointing for a minute? Believe me, if you are anointed there is no demon in hell that is going to stop the promises of God. There are a few things your anointing will do for you that no person can do or you could do for yourself. Your anointing is linked to God and not to people or your church. 

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things

1 John 2:20

Your anointing will speak for you

You do not need to go out advertising yourself when you are anointed. See, that's the beautiful thing about the anointing. You don't have to act a certain way or look a certain way. When the anointing of God is upon you things will work for you. The people that are supposed to be around you will come to you. Just like it happened to David. Samuel sent for David. Davids purpose spoke for him before he was even physically present. The means you need to accomplish the will of God will find you. Why? because anointing is divine, anointing is supernatural and because God is specific about His anointed ones. Anointing isn't anything we can comprehend with our human minds that's why you don't need to be shocked when people don't get you when they don't see you and your potential. You are anointed and I need you to carry yourself like you are the anointed of God. 

Your anointing will set the time

Don't play with Gods timing. When God says it's time, believe me, everyone will know what time it is.

No matter how far behind you feel. Don't play with God's time.Jesus told people all the time: "My time has not yet come" (John 7:6). But He knew that one day it would be done and the reason He came to this earth would be accomplished and, He knew that it didn't matter who was ready and who wasn't ready. God was about to do what He wanted to do at the right time. David was anointed to be King when he was a teenager but he didn't go straight to palace on the day he was anointed but he became King when he was thirty years old.(2. Samuel 5:4)

We are anointed and eagerly waiting for our time to come. Don't get impatient and don't give up. Your time is coming and when it comes there is nothing that the enemy can do about it. Jesus started His ministry at the age of thirty although He was anointed all His life. He was anointed when He was blood in Mary's womb, He was anointed when he was laying in a manger and He was anointed when He was found at the Temple at 12 years old but He wasn't in a rush because He understood that God's time is perfect.

Your anointing will announce you

Jesus always told people not to tell anyone that He was the Messiah. When He healed and delivered people He always told them not to tell anybody. And this is so hard for us because we live in a generation in which we always have to post when we go to the Gym and post when we're having a good time and post all our achievements. Because if we don't share it on social media did it even happen?

Let's be honest. We have one dream, one vision, one prophecy and we feel like we need this big announcement. We feel the need to tell people and show people who we are. How spiritual and gifted we are. But what we need to do is let God announce us. When Jesus was baptized it was the voice of God from Heaven that announced to the people "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:17). Jesus didn't go around announcing Himself, making Himself known. He let God announce Him.

That thing God has placed on the inside of you when you were blood in your mother's womb is what is going to make a way for you. That is what will announce you. Your Gift will speak for you. The purpose of God for your life will speak for you. You will not have to persuade anyone with words. No! You are anointed, you are called, you are chosen and not just by anyone but by God. Jehova Himself. You don't need a good recommendation letter from anyone or an extraordinary resume. God will have you exactly where He wants you and He will not ask permission from anybody.
